Inner Mongolia Autonomous
Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (“Inner Mongolia”) is the second largest plateau in China. It starts from Daxing’anling in the east and extends to Alashan Gobi in the west, spans Northeast China, North China and Northwest China, neighbors eight provinces and regions in China, and borders on Russia and Mongolian People's Republic. Its capital is Huhhot.
I. Development Overview of the Social Economy in Inner Mongolia
1.In respect of the resources, there are dense forests, lush grasslands, fertile farmland, wide water surface, numerous wildlife and abundant minerals in Inner Mongolia.
2.In respect of the livestock husbandry resources, the natural grassland in Inner Mongolia is vast and spacious and ranks first place among the five largest grasslands in China. It is an important livestock husbandry production base in China.
II. Development Overview of the SMEs in Inner Mongolia: The non-public economy is related to the majority of the sectors in the primary, secondary and tertiary industries. The existing types of businesses include individual venture, partnership enterprise, limited liability company and group company. It was preliminarily calculated that by the end of 2004, the non-public economic entities in four leagues and cities realized an increase of at least RMB39,000,000,000, accounting for over 60% of the GDP of the four leagues and cities.
