The People’s Governments of the City at above prefectural level, relevant departments and directly affiliated agencies of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, the agencies of central government authorities in Guangdong Province, group companies directly affiliated to Guangdong Province: 

The 6th China International Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Fair & China-Spain SMEs Fair (Hereinafter referred to as the 6th CISMEF for short) is scheduled to be held at Guangzhou International Conference and Exhibition Center from September 22 to 25, 2009. In order to fully prepare for the event, we notify the relevant matters as follows:

One. The 6th CISMEF will set up 5,000 international standard booths. Our province is responsible for promoting 1,804 booths, in which the cities at prefectural level are responsible for promoting 1,290 booths (the detail can be referred to the Schedule, Shenzhen City is not included, it is responsible for promoting 220 booths separately, the target is assigned by the Organizing Committee of the 6th CISMEF). The 400 booths of SME service hall and 114 booths of financial service zone will be planned and arranged by the Province in accordance with the comprehensive promotion program. The main exhibition zones of the 6th CISMEF are divided into the exhibition zone for electronic information, household appliances, mechanical equipment, energy conservation and environmental protection equipment, consumables and building materials, etc; the exhibition zone for small and medium enterprises, exhibition zone for financial services, exhibition zone for retail chain enterprises, exhibition for Spanish enterprises, the exhibition zone for Asian and European SME cooperation and exchange, the exhibition zone for the enterprises from Hong Kong, Macao and other countries.

Two. The cities at prefectural level shall organize the delegation to take part in the 6th CISMEF. The delegations shall be headed by the leaders of the cities in charge of the work. The cities and relevant entities shall allocate the booths in accordance with the overall arrangement of the Province and go all out to promote the booths within their respective duties so as to ensure the accomplishment of the assigned task of booth promotion. The cities shall actively mobilize and select the key enterprises of the industries to control the quality of the exhibitor. Meanwhile, the SMEs with famous trademarks, brand products and features of industry cluster shall be persuaded to participate in the 6th CISMEF.

The cities above the prefectural level, which has sister cities in Spain, shall make active efforts to publicize and present the 6th CISMEF to these sister cities and invite the Spanish enterprises to take part in the 6th CISMEF and encourage them to carry out the cooperation and exchange activities during the 6th CISMEF period.

Three. The delegations shall itemize the number and list of exhibitors, and shall report the heads, associates, contact persons and contact means (including the fixed phone, mobile phone and fax numbers) and the list of exhibitors to the Secretariat of the 6th CISMEF organizing committee prior to June 30, 2009. 

Any problem in the preparation shall be reported to the Secretariat of the 6th CISMEF organizing committee
