The 6th China International Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Fair & China-Spain SMEs Fair (Hereinafter referred to as the 6th CISMEF) is cosponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, China Banking Regulatory, the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade of Spain, and is scheduled to be held at Guangzhou International Conference and Convention Center from September 22 to 25, 2009. In order to promote the booths of the 6th CISMEF to the domestic enterprises, we now notify the booth promotion program and relevant work as follows:

One. The 6th CISMEF will set up 5,000 international standard booths, which will include 4,000 booths for domestic SMEs and 1,000 booths for overseas SMEs. The exhibition area is divided into the exhibition zone for electronic information, household appliances, mechanical equipment, energy conservation and environmental protection equipment, consumables and building materials, etc, the exhibition zone for SMEs services, financial services, retail chain enterprises, Spain enterprises, Asian-European SMEs cooperation and exchange, the exhibition zone for the enterprises from international and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, etc.

Two. The competent government authorities will take charge of the work exhibition booth promotion, and the intermediary agencies will be invited to participate in the promotion. The program for the booths distributed to the areas is enclosed hereunder. We ask you to utilize the local excellent enterprises to take part in the exhibition in accordance with the arrangement of the exhibition zones and characteristics of local industries.

Three.  The price for a standard booth (3×3m2)of the 6th CISMEF is RMB6800.00, the price for bare exhibition area is RMB700.00 per square meter. The exhibition fee collected by the local authorities in charge of small and medium enterprises shall be paid to the secretariat of the 6th CISMEF Organizing Committee. Four. In order to fully prepare for the booth promotion and exhibition arrangement, we ask the local relevant authorities and entities to report the list of exhibitors and the number of booths to the Secretariat of the 6th CISMEF Organizing Committee before 30th, June, 2009.
