MSpain, as the co-host country of the 6th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair to be held this September, will organize Spanish Enterprises Corps from ten sectors to participate in the fair in the Spanish Hall specially set up covering 10,000m2. In the 6th CISMEF Investment Promotion Meeting in Shannxi held yesterday, relevant responsible persons from the Guangdong Economic and Trade Commission expressed that they would continuously implement the principle of “a combination of government drive and market operation, without focusing on profit” and that the 6th CISMEF would help SMEs join hands to “get through the financial crisis”.

The 6th CISMEF is scheduled to be held in Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center during September 22nd-25th, 2009. The exhibition area for the fair exceeds 100,000m2 and 5,000 international standard booths (4,000 booths for domestic SMEs and 1,000 booths for overseas SMEs) are set up. Industry exhibition sections for electronics & IT products, household appliances, mechanical equipment, energy & environmental protection products, consumption goods and building materials, and special exhibition sections for SME service industry, finance service, retail chain enterprises, Spain, Asia-Europe SMEs cooperation and exchange, international and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, etc. are established.

To assist SMEs to fight against the global financial crisis, the 6th CISMEF will be held fully considering the actual demands of SMEs in respect to exhibition planning, service functions, negotiation activities, etc. and strengthening the exhibition efficiency.

Governmental senior officials and top economists at home and abroad and tycoons from global finance circles and business circles will gather at the 6th CISMEF.
