The 6th CISMEF Exhibition and Investment Promotion Meeting & Mobilization Meeting in Chongqing Was Held Solemnly Chongqing

Right during the 12th China Chongqing International Investment and Global Sourcing Fair, on May 14th, 2009, the 6th CISMEF Exhibition and Investment Promotion Meeting & Mobilization Meeting in Chongqing (hereinafter called “Promotion Meeting” for short) organized jointly the 6th CISMEF Organizing Committee Secretariat and Chongqing SMEs Bureau was conducted in Chongqing DLT Hotel. Mr. Feng Huizhao, Vice Inspector of Guangdong Economic and Trade Commission and Director of the Domestic Exhibition and Investment Promotion Department of the 6th CISMEF Organizing Committee, Mr. Ma Faxiang, Director of Chongqing SMEs Bureau, and Mr. Zhao Jilin, Vice Director of Chongqing SMEs Bureau attended the meeting and made a speech. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Wang Shengbo, Vice Director of the Bureau of CISMEF. Approximately 200 persons including the leaders in charge from individual SMEs bureaus (economic and trade commissions) of district or county (autonomous county) level in Chongqing, the enterprise representatives from the “One-Hour Economic Circle” area in Chongqing, relevant personnel from the 6th CISMEF Organizing Committee Secretariat and journalists and reporters from individual media also attended the meeting.

Mr. Feng Huizhao reported the preparation situations of the 6th CISMEF and its features, i.e. internationalization, integration, serviceability and time effectiveness. The 6th CISMEF is an important measure taken to thoroughly carry out and implement the Scientific Outlook on Development, build harmonious society and promote quick-and-good development of the SMEs, is an important platform to promote international cooperation among the SMEs and drive the SMEs to enhance their qualifications and capacities, is an important carrier to promote cooperation between the SMEs in China and Spain, and is an important and effective means to help the SEMs in China to actively fight against the global financial crisis and keep healthy and steady development.

Mr. Ma Faxiang and Mr. Zhao Jilin made a speech and delivered the mobilization address in the meeting respectively. At the end of the meeting, the leaders of the6th CISMEF Organizing Committee Secretariat sincerely invited the SMEs, financial institutions, agencies, purchasers and investors to participate in the fair and continuously give their support to the CISMEF. After the meeting, the attendees fully communicated some issues regarding participation in the fair by the enterprises.
